If your mower or deck is shaking badly you may have hit something and caused your blade to become unbalanced. It may be a bent crankshaft or bad spindle. In these case you need to bring it in so we can check it out.
You should use non-ethanol fuel in all small engines. You can buy it at most new Racetracs and Wawas. You can do a search on your phone for ‘non-ethanol gas near me’ and it should give you a few choices.
Ethanol is terrible for all small engines. It causes engines to run poorly and causes damage to rubber and vinyl components. Ethanol holds moisture which develops into water. Water in fuel system causes corrosion. When you let your equipment sit you must start it at least every 2 weeks, so that the ethanol does not corrode your carburetor.
Either engine has too much oil in it or someone tipped engine over with the carburetor down and oil got into the fuel system.
Try checking your oil to make sure it is at the right level. Then run your machine until it quits smoking.
